‘Game Awards 2020: The Best of the Game’ title ‘Best of the Best’ for the 2018 NBA Finals
The 2018 NBA Playoffs were all about the Finals.
That is, until Golden State Warriors beat the Cleveland Cavaliers, who lost in the Eastern Conference Finals.
“The first one,” Durant said.
“That was crazy.”
After the Warriors lost in Game 6, the Cleveland faithful celebrated in their hometown, and the team’s star LeBron James and the Cleveland fan base were among the first to go to the airport to celebrate.
The team is celebrating its centennial on Sunday.
But the celebration wasn’t enough for Durant, who felt that the team should have been in the Finals instead of the Western Conference finals.
“I think it’s pretty obvious that the Cavs were the team that had to go through Game 6.
But the Warriors were the ones that had the best chance of winning the NBA title, and I don’t think they should have gone through that, because I think they would have been there,” Durant told ESPN.
Durant is the first NBA MVP winner since Oscar Robertson in 1983.
Golden State has won two NBA championships and the NBA Finals in the past 10 years.
After the Cavaliers’ Game 6 loss, Golden State and Cleveland traded tweets and Facebook posts, and ESPN has since reported that the NBA’s investigation into the Warriors’ conduct has not been complete.
The Cavs, in particular, have been at odds over whether they should be in the NBA finals.
Cleveland and Golden State are locked in a battle for the top seed in the West, which means they will compete in the 2019 NBA Finals.
The Cavaliers are a wildcard, with LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving at the helm.
“For me, the game has changed.
The game has evolved and has become more of a social media game.
It’s become more like it’s a business and it’s an entertainment game,” LeBron James told reporters.
“It’s been fun to watch the Warriors, and it will be fun to be in there and compete.”
James said that he and James Harden are “going to do whatever it takes” to get into the Finals, and he said that the Warriors would need to “have a great game” if they want to win the title.
The Warriors, however, have not been satisfied with the way the team has played so far.
The Warriors have won five of their past six games, including a victory over the Houston Rockets on Sunday that made them the first team to win five straight games.
Golden State, which had an average of 104.4 points and 97.3 rebounds per game during the regular season, has averaged 104.1 points and 95.6 rebounds during the postseason.
The teams will meet again on Monday night, but the Cavs, who have the best record in the Western conference, are coming off their best postseason performance since beating the Milwaukee Bucks in the 2015 NBA Finals, which ended in a Game 7.
James Harden, who led the NBA in scoring in the postseason, scored 32 points in a 102-98 victory over Cleveland in Game 4.
He was followed by Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony, James Harden and Kevin Love in a back-and-forth contest that led to a technical foul.
James, Durant and Love scored 32 apiece, while Harden scored 29 points.
